Between September 2009 and February 2010 the European Commission is hosting a series of 5 multistakeholder workshops on company disclosure of environmental, social and governance (ESG) information.
The European Commission and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) did organise a “Lead Registrant Workshop” on 11 September in Brussels. This workshop was specifically aimed at promoting means that will assist Lead Registrants in their activities related to Substance Information Exchange Fora (SIEFs). Topics discussed in the workshop covered best practices in establishing and managing SIEFs, the preparation of registration dossiers and specific feedback on information requirements.
The European Commission has today published its third call for proposals for space under the Space Theme of the Seventh Framework Programme for Research (FP7), with a budget of EUR 114 million.
