EGNOS performance report December 2013 available

The EC-appointed contractor ESSP is committed to provide full visibility and transparency on the EGNOS services status and performance and is publishing the “EGNOS Performance Report” on a monthly basis.

European Satellite Navigation Competition 2013 (Munich) results are published

The European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) proudly announces the list of the winners of edition 2013 of the competition. With 413 complete submissions from teams regrouping 1200 participants, this 10th edition of the competition was a intense one. Prizes worth a total of 1.07 million Euros were presented in 32 categories.

 
First LPV approach at Santander airport in Spain

At the beginning of 2013 ESSP President Dirk Werquin and AENA Navigation Director Ignacio Gonzalez officially signed the EGNOS Working Agreement (EWA) as the first step for the implementation of EGNOS-based approach procedures at Spanish airports managed by AENA.
