The landscape of affordable housing is transforming, and the SHAPE EU project is at the forefront. Shedding light on the complexities of the sector, the newly released renovation blueprints provide a roadmap for replicating successful lighthouse districts and hel local actors across Europe create thriving communities in existing social and affordable housing districts. These blueprints can further mobilize partnerships (22 partnerships have been established so far and more are expected to come in the near future), thus fostering integrated smart neighbourhoods,  with a focus on energy efficiency, liveability, and innovation that contribute to a socially inclusive Renovation Wave and the New European Bauhaus.
