Commission and Ukraine meet at high level event to address support for Ukrainian businesses and strengthen EU-Ukraine industrial cooperation

The meeting provided a unique opportunity to address key areas of EU and Ukrainian industrial cooperation. In particular, it took stock of the progress under the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA) which is a key component facilitating Ukraine's producers to access the EU Single Market, as well as addressed developments in the context of the EU-Ukraine Partnership on Raw Materials. The meeting also allowed to hear first-hand accounts from Ukrainian businesses about the challenges they face and to discuss the structural problems to be addressed and the need for support to get back on track. The insights from the High Level dialogue will feed into EU's continued efforts to strengthen Ukraine's industrial and economic resilience. This will help to boost support for Ukraine's businesses and build upon the several measures already put into place, such as through matchmaking meetings for Ukrainian and EU businesses affected by supply chain disruptions,  The Supply Chain Resilience (SCR) platform to support businesses in looking for new suppliers and partners; as well as expanding exchange possibilities for Ukrainian entrepreneurs to train in the EU via the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. The Industrial Dialogue is an annual meeting which has taken place since 2017 in Brussels and Kyiv alternately to address matters relating to EU – Ukraine industrial cooperation.
