Study on monitoring industrial modernisation
date: 01/10/2019
The report looks into whether existing indicators and data sources suffice for monitoring relevant aspects of industrial modernisation. It proposes a system of indicators to measure this using available data sources. The final list of 33 proposed key indicators, based on both conceptual suitability and availability, intends to provide broad cross-sectional monitoring of industrial modernisation.
Five case studies were also conducted to explore the available indicators in several specific domains, and to show the usefulness of combining available information into aggregated data compilations. The case studies contributed to the final report and examined 5 key aspects of industrial modernisation. See the report and case studies under 'documents'.
