Interested in joining one of the next CINEA Management meetings?

Every Tuesday, the CINEA's management meet to be updated on current and future issues, discuss priorities and take decisions. Since October 2019, these meetings are open to staff members, giving you the opportunity to attend as observers. 2022 - CINEA Communication in numbers

2022 was another challenging year but we accomplished so much in communicating both externally and internally. The external communication target for total potential reach (20 million) was smashed, with an enormous 33.8 million for the year. A big thank you to all colleagues involved in communication activities, especially the Communication Correspondents, for their continuous collaboration and support throughout the year!

 
Share your ideas for CINEA

An online 'Ideas box' is now available to all Agency's staff. Everyone can submit and share ideas, big or small, with a view to improve our way of collaborating and communicating together! You can send as many ideas/suggestions as you want, as many times as you want - you can access the form at the link below or from CINEAnet's homepage.

 
European Commission supports a new Mediterranean Partnership: teaming up for a sustainable blue economy

On 8 November 2022 at the COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) announced the creation of the Blue Mediterranean Partnership, which aims to support the transition to a sustainable blue economy in the European Union’s Southern Neighbourhood countries in the Mediterranean region.

 
Make EU Green Week 2023 your own – organise a partner event!

Save the Date for the next edition of EU Green Week – the largest annual environmental event in Europe. As part of the European Year of Skills, this year's selection of EU Green Week Partner Events will focus on skills for sustainable, resilient, and socially fair communities. Help us find Europe’s young energy champions

The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will celebrate a young energy champion and organise a world café with 30 young participants. If you know young people (aged 18-34) who contribute significantly in advancing the clean energy transition through political activism, energy communication, research and innovation, studies or professional activity, please send an e-mail to cinea-eusew@ec.europa.eu.

 
H2020 Climate project reaching Antarctica

Ice-core drilling project, BeyondEPICA, arrived at the Little Dome C field camp, located on the Antarctic Plateau at about 40 km from the French/Italian Concordia station. Check out their video in the link below to find out what it takes to set up camp in Antarctica.
