Description

The onboarding of competent authorities to the Once-Only Technical System continues to be a major strategic focus in 2025. This is a fundamental step in delivering an effective technical system that will reduce the cross-border administrative burden for European citizens and businesses and help optimise cross-border procedures.

‘Europe goes Once-Only – Lithuania edition’ will be a key event for engaging with competent authorities and helping them connect to the Once-Only Technical System, especially those in the population, education, and business domains.

A second strategic focus in 2025 is to assist the Member States in conducting live transactions and rolling out Once-Only services. This event will support those Member States who are close to conducting live transactions in preparing for this crucial step through a dedicated workshop.

Finally, this event will be a great opportunity for discussing the value of Once-Only in the broader context of European interoperability and key initiatives, such as EU Digital Identity Wallets.

‘Europe goes Once-Only – Lithuania edition’ is co-organised by the Lithuanian State Digital Solutions Agency, the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania and the European Commission.

If you would like to learn more about the benefits of local Once-Only events, access the report from ‘Europe goes Once-Only – Finland edition’ (access restricted to OOTS implementers).

Your Europe is the portal and face of the Single Digital Gateway, a European Commission initiative enhanced by the automatic exchange of evidence thanks to the Once-Only Technical System.
