Only one week left to apply for grants under the Digital Europe Programme.
Until the 17 August, you can apply to 3 calls of the Digital Europe Programme, all of them with links to EBSI:
- further support to the deployment of EBSI;
- advanceblockchain standardisation efforts and;
- support the implementation of the EDIF and OOS under the SDG.
Reminder: Calls for proposals, August 17
The second wave of the Digital Europe Programme calls for project grants under the 2021-2022 Work Programme has been published on the 22nd of February. With the deadline for application being the 17th of August, there are only three weeks left to apply. Further information on the scope and how to apply can be accessed here. These opportunities under the call ‘DIGITAL-2022-DEPLOY-02’ comprise the following:
- European Blockchain Services Infrastructure – Deployment of services:The objective is to support through grants actions that reinforce the EBSI infrastructure and the EBP use cases.
- Blockchain Standardisation:The objective is to reinforce the European presence in blockchain standardisation efforts.
- Support to the implementation of the European Digital Identity Framework and the implementation of the Once Only System under the Single Digital Gateway Regulation: Develop, implement and scale up the European Digital Identity framework, based on the revised eIDAS regulatory framework as well as the exchange of evidence as set out in article 14 the Single Digital Gateway Regulation.

About DEP
The Digital Europe Programme (DEP) will build on and continue to support the work of SICs which has already been carried out under the Connecting Europe Facility Telecom programme between 2015 and 2021. DEP aims to build the strategic digital capacities of the EU and to facilitate the wide deployment of digital technologies. With an overall budget of €7.5 billion, out of which €0.8 billion is managed by HaDEA, the programme will support investments in the following sectors:

- Cloud, data and Artificial Intelligence
- Cybersecurity
- Advanced digital skills
- Accelerating best use of technologies
