How to apply?

Applications to the Fund are submitted by Members States. Individuals, representative organisations or companies affected by redundancies and wishing to benefit from the Fund should contact their national authorities.

The eligibility criteria for intervention are set out in the EGF Regulation and its amendment. For further information, see the guidelines under 'related documents' and the further information about NUTS regions and NACE economic divisions under 'related links' on this page.

The Commission wishes to encourage eligible applications and it is prepared therefore to offer assistance and other guidance before the formal application is submitted. Member States wishing to avail of this assistance are invited to contact the European Commission at: EMPL-EGF-Info@ec.europa.eu
