In celebration of the 60 anniversary of the Schuman Declaration on 9 May 1950 in the context of the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, the Europe House in Denmark is organisnig the event Have lunch with the homeless!
Time: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
The rationale of this event is to put focus on the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion in a Danish and European context. To strengthen the allure of the event, all homeless and passers-by will be served a free bowl of hot soup, a bottle of mineral water and/or a hot drink and cake. Furthermore, leaflets and brochures on the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion will be handed out to passers-by.
