I have been working with disabled people all my life. I established Independent living centre in 1973 and have worked for human rights of disabled people. Poverty is one of the biggest problems among the disabled people.

Aim for the EY 2010
My aim for the European Year is to improve employment opportunities and protect the human rights of disabled people in Finland, Europe and globally.

I became an ambassador to protect the human rights of  the disabled people.
