The European Commission has organised the second workshop in a series of four Mutual Learning workshops on access to social protection for workers and the self-employed.

These workshops aim at supporting Member States and contributing to the implementation of the principles set out in the Council Recommendation on access to social protection for workers and self-employed.

The second workshop was an opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences on how to extend effective coverage to all workers and the self-employed and therefore focused on articles 9 and 10 on effective coverage of the Recommendation.
