This Peer Review was hosted by the NCTVETD on 25th and 26th of April. Five EQAVET Network members from Finland, Italy, Malta, and Slovakia acted as peers.

Several Romanian stakeholders were present during the Peer Review, including a VET graduate and a school director, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education, national agencies and regional authorities.

The host aimed to explore ways to improve the efficiency and quality of current methodologies and processes used to track graduates' professional placements and anticipate skills and qualification needs related to VET provision in Romania.

The Peer Review consisted of a series of presentations and discussions among the host and participating peers. Together, they discussed how to build upon existing strengths and overcome challenges. For example, they discussed supporting VET schools in collecting and using data, as well as compiling different sets of data.

The peers provided feedback based on a set of questions that were connected to the aim of the Peer Review.

Read the flash report summarising the main outcomes of the discussion.

Another report with detailed feedback from the peer reviewers will be shared with the host country.
