The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:Praktiska Sverige AB (Praktiska) is a part of AcadaMedia AB. AcadeMedia is the largest education company in northern Europe providing education and training from preschool to adult training. Praktiska consists of 36 schools providing learners with second level vocational and educational training, mostly as apprentices. The training takes place 50% at a company and 50% in one of the schools. In all we have about 9000 apprentices in Praktiska. We have also a long tradition of sending apprentices abroad to get European experiences in their VET-training. In this we work within the framework of ERASMUS+ where we carry an accreditation for the period 2021-2027. Our apprentices are trained in a long range of occupations e.g., carpenters, car mechanics, hairdressers, childminders, among others.
