Description of the Organisation:
The main goal of AECEF is to establish conditions for close co-operation among Civil Engineering (CE) faculties, institutions, researchers, teachers and specialists from different countries. It aims to contribute to the dissemination and application of the latest CE research and teaching, while supporting the Europe-wide development and spread of new construction technologies, and working toward the exchange of students, teachers and researchers of CE in Europe. AECEF members can access a guild of CE faculties willing to cooperate and exchange knowledge, and a dedicated database of documents relevant to CE education and research; participate in European funded CE proposals and projects; network with other engineering education and professional organisations; be part of a common platform to promote CE education and research and to discuss problems and solutions; and participate in AECEF initiatives about CE pedagogical innovation, curriculum development and international cooperation.
