The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:We are an organization created by port authorities, primarily operating in Barcelona, Civitavecchia and Palermo. Our main objective is to collaborate with local training centers and sector companies and public administrations to promote dual education and raise awareness about port communities as hubs for job creation and talent attraction. We actively engage in cooperation programs related to training with other Mediterranean ports, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. This is accomplished by assisting training centers in developing and nurturing their relationships with industry companies. We facilitate the connection between educational institutions and businesses, fostering collaboration, and promoting mutual understanding of the needs and expectations of both parties. By strengthening these relationships, we aim to create a supportive ecosystem where apprenticeships and vocational training thrive, benefiting both students and the industry as a whole.
