The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:Bucovina Institute Association is a non-profit NGO aiming to support the sustainable development of communities in the North-East of Romania, South-West of Ukraine and Republic of Moldova through learning partnerships projects and continuing training programmes for adults. Our key objectives are to facilitate cross-border training and cooperation, increase the employability of vulnerable groups (rural youths and adults, migrants, minorities, people with disabilities), and ensure their non-discriminatory access to learning and the labour market through apprenticeships, (re-)qualification, training and specialisation courses, skills assessment and certification programmes, and accredited employment support services for the social inclusion of people at risk of poverty. We also organise volunteering activities for the development of work skills and trainings to prevent human trafficking, the bullying and segregation of Roma children and children with disabilities in schools.
