The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:EFFAT, the European Federation of Trade Unions in the Food, Agriculture and Tourism sectors, is representing 120 national trade unions from 35 European countries. EFFAT defends the interests of more than 22 million workers in its sectors towards the European Institutions, European employers' associations and transnational companies. FoodServiceEurope is the European organization that brings together contract catering organizations in Europe and speaks on behalf of a significant share of the market. Contract catering employs 600,000 people across Europe and serves around 6 billion meals every year. FoodServiceEurope objectives are to provide a valuable insight on EU policy initiatives and legislations and to inform policymakers on the perspective of the European contract catering sector, to provide an EU-level forum for contract caterers, to cooperate with other EU stakeholders on areas of joint interest.
