The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.

Description of the Organisation:
The Hellenic Ministry of Education mission is to provide education based on the principles of democracy, equality, solidarity, non-discrimination and transparency, to teach respect for the environment, to shape free, active and critically minded citizens, to develop and promote science, research, innovation and technology and, last but not least, to ensure quality upgrading of the education for the new generations. The Ministry's Directorate of Policy Planning and Development of Vocational Education links VET graduates with the labour market, ensuring the quality of education and training by regulating and evaluating the Post-Secondary Year - Apprenticeship Class. Among others, the Directorate coordinates and monitors the apprenticeship program, cooperates with stakeholders to find positions for apprentices, collects and maintains statistical data regarding the program, as well as designs and implements curricula for the Post-Secondary Year - Apprenticeship Class.
