Description of the Organisation:
The Community Development Institute (CDI), established in 1996, is a national umbrella association for sustainable development, education, and social services. CDI is a verified VET provider by the Ministry of Education and closely cooperates with public and private stakeholders. In collaboration with the business sector, CDI provides training and opportunities for young people in a variety of sectors, including the mechanical, graphic design, audio-visual, and health industries. The CDI's aim is to create a favourable climate for the development of a legal framework for apprenticeships in North Macedonia, as apprenticeships are relatively new in the public discourse in the country and there is no framework covering them. To do so, CDI implements, amongst other things, project-related activities. In the 25 years since its inception, CDI has established an international presence and implemented a wide range of training and services on various topics.
