High-Level Forum Africa–Europe

Hosted by the Austrian Presidency of the EU and the African Union presidency, the High-Level Forum will promote innovation and digitalisation as enablers of future development, in order for everyone to benefit from the ongoing digital transformation.

 
COP24 in Katowice

The European Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development will organise a number of side events at COP24 in Katowice on 3-14 December. The EU flagship initiatives initiatives ElectriFI (energy), the Global Climate Change Alliance+ (climate change) and Covenant of Mayors Sub-Saharan Africa (support to cities and local authorities on energy and climate issues) will be the focus of three high level side-events. Dates are still to be confirmed.

 
Sixth Green Growth Knowledge Platform Annual Conference

The Sixth Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) Annual Conference will take place in conjunction with the OECD's 2018 Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum (GGSD). It will focus on the theme of "Inclusive solutions for the green transition: Competitiveness, jobs/skills and social dimensions".
