The European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), the European Defence Agency (EDA), Europol and the Computer Emergency Response Team for the EU Institutions, Agencies and Bodies (CERT-EU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a cooperation framework between their organisations.
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Informatics (DIGIT) has started closer cooperation with Uruguay's Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society (AGESIC). DIGIT and AGESIC agreed to cooperate in IT, open platforms, standards and methods where these concern interoperability solutions and common frameworks for public administrations.

An inter-institutional arrangement signed today establishes a permanent Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-EU) to reinforce the protection against the cyber attacks, which are often targeted against the EU institutions, agencies and bodies.
