The European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), the European Defence Agency (EDA), Europol and the Computer Emergency Response Team for the EU Institutions, Agencies and Bodies (CERT-EU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a cooperation framework between their organisations.

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Informatics (DIGIT) has started closer cooperation with Uruguay's Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society (AGESIC). DIGIT and AGESIC agreed to cooperate in IT, open platforms, standards and methods where these concern interoperability solutions and common frameworks for public administrations.
The European Commission launches a public call for tenders seeking bug bounty platform providers for its EU-FOSSA 2 project. From 14 April 2018 until 24 May 2018 companies can apply to run the EU-FOSSA 2 bug bounties later this year.
On the 8th of March, Commissioner Gabriel hosted a discussion on cyber skills and women talents in cyber security in DIGIT. The event was also the occasion to reward senior managers for being advocates for the Cyber Aware Programme.

An inter-institutional arrangement signed today establishes a permanent Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-EU) to reinforce the protection against the cyber attacks, which are often targeted against the EU institutions, agencies and bodies. This decision follows the successful operation of CERT-EU as a task-force over the last six years.
