HORIZON 2020 - Digital data solutions to improve transport mobility

In a bid to achieve problem-free and proactive mobility solutions for transport, the EU-funded OPTIMUM project is developing IT systems to monitor, gather and analyse multi-source big data on transportation behaviours. This will improve transit, freight transportation and congestion levels throughout Europe.

Mobility in Europe is becoming more challenging as travel systems become increasingly complex; both operators and users have difficulty negotiating available services and congested routes.

The EU-funded OPTIMUM project is gathering data from a multitude of sources to achieve reliable and efficient mobility solutions and lower congestion levels, simultaneously reducing excessive CO2 emissions.
