Following the destruction by ISIS of the Mosul Museum, two Marie Skłodowska-Curie researchers  Matthew Vincent and Chance Coughenour, and their  project coordinator Marinos Ioannides, have issued a  worldwide call to collect pictures from the artefacts that were destroyed.

The objective is to create a digital database and eventually contribute to the restoration of those artefacts. The project volunteers are  also looking for developers with coding skills.

The researcher have already created a 3D image of the Lion of Mosul.
