HORIZON 2020 - FET Flagship Model & FET Flagship Staff Working Document : overview & presentation

With Flagships, the EC proposes a new PARTNERING MODEL for long-term European co-operative research. This model is built around a large Core Project and several Partnering Projects. The FET Flagship Model is the implementation and Governance Model of the Flagship projects in Horizon 2020. The FET Flagship Staff Working document published by the EC sets out the future working arrangements and governance for the two Flagships under way. On 16 September 2014, the EC published a "FET Flagship Staff working document", a report on the EU ambitious science and technology Flagships and announced it in a press release.The document draws the lessons from setting up the first two Flagships, Graphene and the Human Brain Project, each representing a total investment of EUR 1 billion.
