Greener Aviation 2014: Clean Sky breakthroughs and worldwide status

Clean Sky is the largest aeronautical research programme in Europe and addresses ambitious environmental objectives through the integration of technologies in specific demonstrators. All sectors of aeronautics are concerned. The programme will be completed before end 2017 when all the demonstrators will have been tested. An extension of the research programme up to 2025 is under discussion within the European programme Horizon 2020.

Very important technical results are available now: the purpose of this conference is to display and discuss these achievements with experts in all disciplines. In parallel, other worldwide programmes focusing on environment and fuel savings will be presented. The programme will comprise plenary as well as technical sessions.
