Connected and Automated Transport - Expert Group Report

A new report on connected and automated transport has been published, outlining the main trends and developments in the field.

This report was prepared under the initiative of European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation to summarise the main trends and developments in the area of connected and automated transport. It discusses current advancements and future research needs for developing and deploying connected and automated transport technologies and systems for all transport modes.
The insights of this report were used in the preparation of the Commission's Staff Working Document 'Towards clean, competitive and connected mobility: the contribution of Transport Research and Innovation to the Mobility package', which is a part of the recent Commission's Europe on the Move Package.

The content of the document is based on the contributions of a group of experts in the field of transport.
