With a budget of €196.2 million , the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot Pathfinder Open has launched a bottom-up call for proposals. Due to the current crisis, the deadline for submission of applications has been extended to 03 June 2020, 17:00 (Brussels local time).
The EIC Pathfinder Open programme, previously FET-Open, is seeking for ambitious and novel research ideas for radically new technologies that challenge current thinking and with the potential to change the future by improving peoples’ lives and their environment.
The bottom-up feature means that there are no predefined topics; the EIC will evaluate and award the most innovative and breakthrough research ideas.
