The launch of the 3rd edition of SOFT Innovation Prize under Euratom Work Programme 2018

Building on the success of SOFT Innovation Prize in 2014 and 2016, the European Commission launches today the third edition of the SOFT Innovation Prize under Euratom Work Programme 2018.

Prize contest is open to the world and invites international fusion researchers from all ITER partner countries and any third country, which has a bilateral fusion cooperation with Euratom. It sets no specific category, but is rather interested in any physics or technology innovation related to fusion with a potential for further exploitation.

Proposals must be submitted by 8 March 2018 on the Horizon 2020 Participant Portal

The winners will be awarded €50.000 for the 1st prize, €25.000 for the 2nd prize and €12.500 for the 3rd prize. Prize ceremony will take place in Giardini Naxos, Sicily, Italy during the 30th SOFT (Symposium on Fusion Technology) Conference in September 2018.
