eHealth Week 2017: Save the Date

The coming eHealth Week 2017 will discuss topics such as 'Cross-border exchange of personal health data: from policy to practice' and 'European Reference Networks: how digital health helps'.

date:  10/05/2017 - 12/05/2017

eHealth Week 2017, this time organised by the Maltese Ministry of Health as part of their Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the European Commission and HIMSS Europe, will again gather stakeholders from across the globe to address international hot topics related to eHealth, wellbeing and ageing.

One of the objectives of the Maltese eHealth agenda is to improve the Maltese myHealth portal for patients and clinicians. The next generation of myHealth has been launched and will be available for international demonstration in 2017.

As such, two of the themes which will be addressed during eHealth Week are:

  • Giving Europeans access to their personal health data;
  • Improving public health through better use of clinical data.

Other topics on the agenda are:

  • Cross-border exchange of personal health data: from policy to practice;
  • European Reference Networks: how digital health helps.

Registration for eHealth Week 2017 is scheduled to be live in December 2016.
