The European Commission, together  with the European Investment Bank Institute, will launch in 2016 the first ever Horizon Prize for Social Innovation to reward a cash prize of

2 Million EURO  for cracking  a major challenge  of our society  via new innovative solutions. You are invited to help decide the theme of the prize by popular vote!

The challenges up for vote are

• Childhood obesity
• Aging population
• Integration of immigrants in the labour market
• Women-led enterprises
• Community-led clean energy generation
