venue:  Dublin, Ireland

The “European Exascale Projects” (CRESTA, DEEP / DEEP-ER, EPiGRAM, EXA2CT, NUMEXAS and MontBlanc) represent the research efforts funded by the European Commission to investigate and develop hardware and software for Exascale supercomputers.

The “European Exascale projects” are organising a European Exascale workshop with a particular focus on industry, as a satellite event at the PRACEdays15. During the workshop, the projects will demonstrate how their research efforts may benefit HPC usage in European industry. The speakers will share insights on their research efforts having in mind particularly user requirements and challenges to be overcome for future Exascale computing. They will reference concrete examples from various fields of industry, as for instance oil & gas, pharma or aerospace.
The event is especially directed at HPC users with a more industrial background enlightening them on what will be possible in HPC in the future. Naturally, everyone interested in Europe’s road to Exascale computing will benefit from this well thought-through programme and is more than welcome to join, learn and discuss with the projects.

More details on the workshop can be found here. Registration can be done via the official PRACEdays15 registration page here.
