The main objective of the public consultation was to collect views from citizens and stakeholders on the issues to be addressed in the revision of the Directive. This provided the European Commission with a broader range of views on identified policy priorities.

The findings of this public consultation will form part of the impact assessment report to accompany the Commission's proposal on a review of the Noise Emission Directive.
