The Regional Innovation monitor will provide users with a panorama of the state of development of regional innovation strategies and policies and their implementation. The measure will analyse regional innovation policies based on methodologies and indicators already developed, such as in the context of the Inno-Policy Trendchart and of the European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS).

The key areas to be covered are:

• Collection of information and analysis on innovation policies in the EU regions;
• Organisation of thematic workshops;
• Systematic dissemination of information concerning regional innovation policy.
