The aim of the service contract is to harmonise business processes and data exchange architectures and standards, at European or international level, within the textile/clothing and footwear industries. More specifically its objective is to complete reference architecture for interoperability, building on existing standardisation achievements and joining them in a seamless architecture at European or international level. Its ultimate objective is to create a favourable environment that would stimulate and enable the uptake of ICT and eBusiness technologies, notably by SMEs, in those 2 highly SME-based sectors in Europe.
