The contractor will have to organise and hold meetings of the coordination groups for Notified Bodies by taking on the management of the administrative secretariat.
The administrative secretariat must carry out all work relating to the preparation, organisation and monitoring of the coordination group meetings, including the reimbursement of travel and subsistence expenses of the chairpersons and of the staff of the contractor.
Those who will benefit from these services are, in general, the participants, which include the chairpersons of the groups, the technical secretaries and the European Commission officials responsible for the groups.
The meetings will generally be held in Brussels, but can also be organised elsewhere in Europe.
The Member States are responsible for the designation and notification of these bodies, selecting them from among the testing laboratories, inspection and certification bodies under their jurisdiction.
