This contract should help identify what and where the main available industrial assets are, and their potential to consolidate the recovery of European manufacturing in order to contribute to the overall EU 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. For this, the contractor will be required to produce a study detailing a methodology and apply it to map the potential competitive advantages of the European industrial sectors, identifying those assets best suited to delivering industrial growth in the future. This will allow the Commission to better target its policies and understand the dynamics of the industrial sector.
