This 24-month Contract will consist of providing content on the SIE hub, expanding the community around it, promoting social innovation towards all relevant stakeholders, sharing knowledge and support new approaches, facilitating cross-border collaborations and providing evidence of the benefits of social innovation. It will aim at ensuring expansion of the work undertaken since the launch of the Initiative in March 2011. Two contracts were already signed to set up and run SIE, notably to manage the website and fuel it with content.

The tenderers are invited to propose improvements and submit ideas to take SIE a step further but primarily they are expected to build on what has been created under the previous contracts and to keep the momentum thereby initiated.
