The Commission is currently reviewing the implementation of this strategy. It is therefore keen to have business views and suggestions for further improvement. The stakeholders consultation focuses in particular on how:

  • to improve the quality and relevance of proposed and existing EU legislation
  • to ensure the effective implementation of EU legislation
  • to better consult stakeholders

This is a good opportunity to indicate for instance when businesses should be ideally consulted and which kind of questions should be asked (how could adjustment costs to new rules be minimised? How long should the transition period be? Etc)
