European e-Skills Week

The objective of this service contract is to organise in 2012 the European e-Skills Week, a major awareness raising campaign in Europe to promote e-skills. It should offer the opportunity to present the achievements of the EU e-skills strategy and to provide a unique pan-European platform to promote experiences and best practices, foster cooperation and efficiently mobilise stakeholders.

The European e-Skills Week will take place in March 2012. It is aiming at:

  • Providing a platform for awareness raising on e-skills at European level
  • Stimulating partnerships through the promotion and coordination of activities
  • Developing joint communication and awareness activities with public authorities and stakeholders as well as encouraging the organisation of self-funded national events and communication activities with the aim achieving high visibility and impact
  • Providing a wide public with consistent information
