This is an invitation to contribute to a public consultation in the context of an upcoming review of Directive 2000/14/EC relating to the noise emission in the environment by equipment for use outdoors.
Directive 2000/14/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the noise emission in the environment by equipment for use outdoors aims to harmonise the laws of the Member States relating to noise emission standards, conformity assessment procedures, noise-marking inclusive CE-marking, technical documentation and collection of data concerning the noise emission in the environment of equipment for use outdoors. It contributes to the functioning of the internal market, while protecting human health and well-being.
