The contract will cover the technical assistance for Commission-requested standardisation where the requested standards (or parts thereof) could be incorporated by a reference into EU acts, and where such standards (or parts thereof) could have a legal effect.

In particular it covers technical assistance under EU harmonisation legislation for products (i.e. 'NLF /New Approach' legislation) but is not restricted to that.
