DG Enterprise has given to the consultant RPA Ltd the task of performing an assessment of the impact of potential restrictions on the marketing and use of Dichloromethane-based paint strippers and on the availability, performance and risk profile of the alternative products. The study has now been launched with the distribution of a number of questionnaires targeted to the different operators in the supply chain, and also to national authorities and stakeholders. The study is scheduled to last eight months.
