In the previous issue of the Finance Newsletter, we had an article on financial literacy and what the EU is doing to promote greater financial literacy and increase financial well-being and resilience. The article looked forward to a high-level conference in Brussels on 20 February. Commissioner McGuinness delivered the opening remarks at the event, which focus on an issue that she feels strongly about, because – as she says - it's important for families and society.
