It is important that all applicants, including those who have applied previously, read the application form and guidance carefully. Small improvements have been made to the application form and guidance in order to smooth the process for applicants and evaluators.

Key dates for your diary are as follows:

• 29 September 2017 – Deadline for submissions
• March 2018 – Announcement of finalists and public vote
• May 2018 – Award ceremony takes place in Brussels
