LIFE Clean Energy Transition projects' updates

Four LIFE Clean Energy Transition projects (easySRI, Smart Square, SRI-ENACT and SRI2MARKET) have formed a cluster which gathers 42 partners from 16 countries. They are all contributing to support the implementation and successful market uptake of the SRI.

 
What to expect from the new SRI service contract

The SRI is currently being tested in eight Member States, while an SRI platform has been established to share understanding of the SRI with regard to its implementation and value proposition. At the same time, several initiatives related to the SRI are underway, including those under the LIFE Clean Energy Transition programme.

The Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) is a rating scheme designed to assess our buildings’ capacity to accommodate smart-ready services. The SRI was introduced in the revised 2018 Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and its subsequent regulations.
