Annual savings of €4.2M by using Energy Performance Contracts (16/02/2017)
Although many European cities have committed to energy saving actions, non-technological barriers are still delaying the use of Energy Performance Contracts as a tool to open up saving potentials. The EU funded project EESI 2020 addressed these barriers and supported the implementation of long-lasting energy saving measures in major cities and metropolitan regions across Europe. The implementation of the first public Energy Performance Contracts in Croatia was one of the biggest achievements.

The conference will present successful projects using private financing mechanisms for energy efficiency at local and regional level, as well as initiatives working across Europe to structure the market for energy efficiency finance.
Practitioners will present their concrete experience in the development of bankable investment pipelines, most of the time is dedicated to operational and interactive workshops. A special focus will be on structuring the market, and in particular on standardisation, aggregation and de-risking of energy efficiency assets.

You can enter your CV at any time, but note that until 31st October we will be selecting the long list of experts for the upcoming round of evaluations in spring 2017.
