The CIVEX commission is organising the study visit "Addressing benefits and challenges of enlargement for EU and candidate countries' cities and regions" to Szeged (Hungary) on 13 September 2024, at the invitation of Anna Magyar (HU/ECR).

The President of the European Committee of the Regions, Vasco Alves Cordeiro, was invited to take part in the annual meeting of the US National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL), which took place from 5-7 August in Louisville, Kentucky.
