Olympic torch relay and climate workout

On 25 May, the European Climate Pact made an appearance at the passing of the Olympic flame in Poitiers, a city in west-central France. Members of the community presented the Pact and led two free 30-minute climate-themed workouts fusing sports and climate action awareness.

 
The Pact joins forces with the Climate Action Network

On 1 June, one week before the European elections, the Climate Pact teamed up with the Climate Action Network and the WeMakeTheFuture climate movement in Brussels.

With an out-of-the-box climate hammer game, Pact Ambassadors talked to the public about what they can do for the climate, the importance of using their voice to speak out, and how we can drive action via the ballot box.

Milan hosts the first Climate Pact Going Local Talk on sustainable cities

On 23 March, the Climate Pact Going Local Talk on urban mobility and sustainable cities took place in Milan, Italy.

Organised by the PES Group at the European Committee of the Regions in collaboration with the European Climate Pact and Mobility Councillor of the Municipality of Milan, the event was the first of a series of Climate Pact Going Local Talks. With over 70 attendees, discussions highlighted the importance of concrete actions at the city level, including promoting allotments for growing food and adopting the 30 km/h city model
