Blue-Action’s SnowApp is now at prototype stage

A consistent snow base is a key resource for any ski resort but rising global temperatures is a challenge for the communities based around these tourist destinations. SnowApp is a climate service application developed by the H2020 Climate project Blue-Action during the 2019/2020 ski season at the Finnish Ruka ski resort. The app provides relevant predictions on snow cover, allowing the preparation for the winter season.

CEF checklists simplification

CINEA’s Operational Finance Unit, A3, is happy to announce a further simplification to its CEF checklists: it will no longer be necessary for the actors in the ARES signataire workflow to fill in, date or sign the checklists – no need to check-out and check-in anymore! The visa in ARES will instead certify that all checks have been done. This will further ease the handling of the files whilst still ensuring that all checks have been properly carried out.

Zero-emission battery power supply for cleaner air

Air pollution is the number one environmental cause of premature death in Europe, with more than 50% of Europe's cities having dirty air.
